Fairmona is a new high energy-libido driven-toy monkey rock duo that has been seducing Southern California for about six months. The band is Barbara âBizarrebara!â Gruska on drums and Marcel âBrazil!â Camargo on guitar. Both sing and write songs with subject matters varying from Insects to Christina Aguilera to Genital Handshakes. Fairmonaâs goal is to create a raw sound that rocks but is stripped down, leaving space for the songwriting to be featured. Fairmona has enjoyed a great reception from audiences particularly in Los Angeles where they have performed most frequently. Now the band is ready to release its first self titled EP in January of 2006.

The duo has also been seen playing in a variety of other projects such as Inara Georgeâs band and also individually with artists like Tom Harrell, Chris Pierce, Guilherme Vergueiro and many others. Keep an eye out for this up and coming pair of lean-mean-green-machines!
