Felix "the Catt" Hanson is the Father of this child Baga Tricks..Felix grew up around music his father being a guitarist that had bands with Steve Gaines (late of Lynyrd Skynyrd)Toots Hibbert of Maytals fame.Marcy Levy (Clapton Band).Felix was raised in Jamaica and is steeped in a Mixed groove of Roots Rock Reggae.His first influences being Cream,Hendrix,Doors,Marley.Felix played in his Fathers band Jimmy Hawkins and The Cyclones.when he was 15.For 10 years.Jimmy not really into traveling or recording just played a house Gig in Key largo Fl.at the Famous "Caribbean Club"a real Keys party roadhouse.Felix yearned for the music he loved Roots Reggae.He formed his own Band and called it Baga Tricks and started playing some Gigs in the fl.Keys and through much trials and teaching American Guys and girls the true one drop and ska riddims of Jamaica he formed a well honed ensemble of seasoned musicians that are a household name in the Fl. Keys.Felix was just invited to play with Chuck Berry at a concert held here in Key largo and Chuck gave Felix 2 Bass solos and exclaimed to the audience now this Boy can play and Chuck stayed and played on stage in 90 degree weather longer than he has in a long time.His son told us the Old Man was impressed.Felix commands standing ovations regularly while performing ,He brings a joy and Happiness to all that catch "The Catt" on the prowl.Being very versatile he mixes his long time stage experience and firebrand playing together in a mix of Roots rock reaggae Funk dancehall charm.Thanks for Listening
