Details:
ftprints11 - a new breed of musical unit where things aren't always what they seem to be...?! 'playing' from Armidale NSW Australia, ftprints11 are led by philosopher and songwriter/producer with 'special interests', Richard Rummery. Two cds are currently released - Thump is a sexpop soup jam-packed with experi-mental electronic pop and rock grooves which will keep you pumpin' all night;)
The Thump album is sex music for people who like it layered...and the evil twin to the main game - the UNSOUND cd. A dense, layered and yet simply complex rock album whiohc leaves no stone underdetermined. Highly original song structures and that wicked tongue-in-groove is he serious or not? attitude, which Rummery is becoming known for, make this a stand-out album for dancefloor officianados anywhere. Worth it for the first tracks on each cd alone; I 'll take you somewhere'drills itself into your brain and won't leave. 'Drawn up', on the other hand, is so poignant and majestic and yet still umbued with the everyday feeling of living. Hmmm. Love it, live it, move it!
