Taking its name from a mass mind-control concept from the cult sci-fi novel "Illuminatus!", The Fnords is the brainchild of one Matt Gordon, a young man who, like many, spent his childhood surrounded by cornfields and cultural dissonance. Born In San Antonio, Texas and raised near Columbus, Indiana, Gordon presents a snapshot of his talents and vision as captured during a brief allotment of studio time on luxurious two-inch analog tape.


The songs here were recorded in the summer of 1999 and kept out of circulation until sufficient passage of time deemed it proper to release them to the public.
