FPA's leading man, MC Pale White, tells the listener his life stories, dreams, and ambitions for World peace. Pale is supported on stage and in the studio by his homegirl Ho-D, as well as other guest artists.

BIO:

It all started in Bartlesville, Oklahoma with a Casio, cheap mic, and a tape recorder back in the late '80's. It was the 8th grade, and a classmate taught me how to beat box. With this new skill, and a desire to be a rapper, Pale White was born. Raps were sporadically written throughout high school, but with no real equipment for recording or writing music, nothing materialized.

At the age of 19, I got my first real sequencing keyboard, the Peavy DPM 3SE. At this time in my life, my interest in music had shifted from rap to Alternative Rock. I wrote singing songs that were kind of dark, gothy, and industrial. In 1996, I paid some dude to record my first album, which was done on a 4-track. All 10 or so copies were released on cassette under the band name Pale, with the album being titled, "A Whole New Dimension".

Then I decided to really do it. I was going to move to the big city of Tulsa and record a real CD. At the age of 22, I now had 1000 copies of Pale's first CD, "What is Real?" Still kind of gothy, but a little more pop added. I had no idea what to do with all these CD's, so I left them in Oklahoma as love led me West about 8 months later.

It was within two months of moving to Portland, Oregon, in 1998, that I created the name Future Platinum Audio to play an hour long instrumental set at my first ever show. The flyer for Hypnotica "35", described my music as "acid house flashback". The name change from Pale to Future Platinum Audio, was due to two reasons: One, Pale was trademarked by someone else, and two, I started writing my music with new gear, which gave it a more modern sound.

After a couple of years went by, I bought my own recording gear. I recorded an album in 2000 called "Evolution". It wasn't that good, so only homemade copies were burned. Then in 2002, I decided I was going to do it again. Record a real CD! I wrote and recorded the album Pretty Electric, an epic rise and fall of musical emotion inspired by post-rock bands like Mogwai. I had the album mastered, but ended up only burning copies to sell. I didn't want to repeat the Pale mistake of losing interest in my album and having hundreds of CD's sitting around in boxes, so I just burned copies and performed a few shows in Portland. Sure enough, I then lost interest.

I spent the next two years playing drums in a couple of bands, The Vacant and Chrome Becomes You.

Then 2005 rolls around. My old friend Rebecca Sanborn wants to put out a CD single of Remixes of her songs. Who does she want to do the Remixes?? ME!!! My music making machine died the year before, but I didn't want to lose the opportunity, so I bought a new keyboard (Korg Triton Extreme). The remixes are done, and soon to be pressed.

Having spent my first year at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, a new spark for life had been lit. I no longer wanted to write sad, depressing songs. I felt the calling to express myself and my feelings about the World and Spirit. With inspiration and encouragement, Pale White was reborn into the cast of Future Platinum Audio. After about ten month's of writing, recording, and rerecording, "The Tao of Pale" was finished. As you see here, it is now available for consumption!!! Peace. Mark Weintz
