Full Caliber's self titled debut album was originally released under the name "Level-Down". For those of you who might recognize some of the songs who were kind enough to buy the CD under its original name. The tracks remain the same, however, as many bands find over the course of time... the first name they go with does not always work out to be the best choice. As is the case for this instance.

The album itself & music contained within was written & recorded by Jake Cravotta with the full intention of putting a band together based entirely on the music. Having always wanted to form (or join) a band that writes & performs all original music, Jake spent the better part of 6 months writing and recording this album. After its completion in the early part of '05, he went out to piece together what has become Full Caliber, a four piece/two guitar, high energy rock-n-roll band. They have been playing steadily throughout the Buffalo NY music scene since the summer of '05 and continue to write & perform their own material.

For people who really enjoy (& miss) what Rock music once was, Full Caliber is based entirely on the music that once defined the genre of Rock in the early to mid 80's with hook laden riffs, catchy solos and choruses that get stuck in your head.
