Finneus' brand new independent release 'Superstar and the Ballerina' is a deftly performed testament to the quartet's uncanny ability to write tight, catchy arrangements spanning the genres of hard rock, soul, alt-rock and americana, all with a pop sensibility. The hooks are huge and the groove has girth. The album's briskly paced ten song, 38 minute running time is great indication that this is one band that knows it's way around a well-crafted tune: simplicity is elegance! Truly a collaborative outfit, the four band members equally shared all of the songwriting credits on their new release.
