Edgy acoustic punk/ska/reggae.
12 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Acoustic, ROCK: Ska
Details:
Fighting Chance began in 2003 as an acoustic side project comprised of Ryan East and Erin G. As an acoustic 2 piece Ryan and Erin completed two eight state tours and played over a hundred and fifty shows in their first 18 months as a band. Forging a die hard fan base/friend base through out the southwest. They have a song list of over 35 songs with content ranging from disillusion with the nine to five work force to finding meaning in the most trivial of lifes twists. Because of their diverse influences and sound Fighting Chance has broken down genre barriers playing/touring with such bands as Guttermouth, Swinging Utters, Youth Brigade, The Slackers, Hr of Bad Brains, Dubcat, The Expendables, Gregory Isaacs, and Agent Orange. Sending crowds ranging from 15 to 700 away with the knowledge that there are bands out there not afraid to be different in a country full of screamo scenesters these boys provide a breathe of much needed honest air. After adding drummer Donnie J and Bass player Chris D there is no doubt that you will leave every Fighting Chance show feeling that your ticket money was well spent.
