What we are doing is fusing poetry and progressive sounds to create a unique form of alternative music, thats based on drama, emotion and the spiritual aspects of human kind. Its a conscious effort to be avant -garde from the lyrical ideas to the music we create. Hopefully weve achieved a moment in time or a timeless moment. People say we remined them of the DOORS,ECHO AND THE BUNNEYMEN and JOY DIVISION. Jake wrote, that singer reminds me of Morrison of the Doors reincarnated or something. This stuff is definately a trip and a half.
Recommend a 'buy' on any "CAUSE OF OUR JOY" CD's, you won't be disappointed. Call your local radio station and request anything from this band today! Dale wrote, thanks for sending your cd into me-it's very 80s and reminded me a bit of The Bunneymen,Joy Division etc. I particularly liked the track " In other times," it is a fantastic song, very powerful,emotional and melodic, quite fresh and different to anything else around at the moment. Our single In Other Times, has been chosen to be on a compilation CD by Matchbox Records in London due out in May. It will be released around the world.
