CYRIL MAY is a true Australian, born and raised on a farm in Hellhole Creek Victoria, when, as he says, âthe earth was very youngâ. He is one of the fortunate humans whose whole body vibrates with music and Cyrilâs philosophy of life is reflected in the words and music he has been writing for more than 40 years. As a young man Cyril, his guitar and song book, left Australia to work his way through the South Sea Islands and Canada. He finally settled down in Long Beach, California with his American wife Dottie who adds her lovely vocal harmony to many of Cyrilâs songs.
In the early 70âs, Cyrilâs surfboard washed him onto the beaches of San Blas Mexico where he met Jack and introduced him to western style music.
