ryan "cronja" cron was born july 22, 1983 in the midwest river city of evansville, in. growing up he was constantly changing environments from frequent family moves which included 2 military institutions during his middle school years.

surrounded by drugs and all kinds of trouble cronja found his escape through music. at 15 he started rapping and recording street albums with long time friend sean "tecknowledge" finn. after 5 years of drugs, nothing but trouble with the juvenile system, losing a few close friends to the fast life and finding himself at the end of his rope, cronja made the choice to join the marine corps instead of becoming another statistic of the streets. the marines took cronja all over the world including places like okinawa, japan , hawaii , missouri, north carolina , and one tour of duty in operation iraqi freedom.

upon returning home after 3 years of service he found that "tecknowledge" had sealed a deal with another long time friend michael "determind" barber, ceo of sharp as razor records which is home to infamous louisville rappers such as "advercity" and "bop em down". with sharp as razor cronja sharpened his skills on the stage and in the studio.

after branching off on his own and completing an audio engineering program at sae institute of technology in nashville,tn, as well as an internship at masterfonics studio, cronja has started the independent record label "nu classick records" and has teamed up with tecknowledge to present "the first classic". the album will be distributed online and in record stores in the midwest.

sean finn aka tecknowledge, the evansville, indiana native, was signed to sharp-as-razor records first as a solo artist, and later joined rhyme related because he felt that his ability to design the perfect hook was what the crew lacked as a whole. he raps about who he is, and he raps about the struggles that he has been through. after losing his father last year, and gaining his first child, a baby girl named kadence, tecknowledge knows what the average working class people want to hear. that is why he calls himself, "the people's voice." he can quickly change his style to match anyone in the group or the world, his cunning ability to ride a beat, like salt rides an ocean wave, makes his delivery and sound match up to any type of beat or song. he sings on hooks like a pro, and raps in many different styles. before working with sharp-as-razor records and rhyme related, tecknowledge put out 3 underground albums in the evansville tri-state area. his last two, "september tears" after the tragedy on 9-11, and "motion picture madness" were both local fan favorites, and they both some how made there way over to louisville for sharp-as-razor records to pick up on him. he currently has two collaboration albums that will both be dropping in march. look out for "sharp as razor records presents: rhymerelated" (www.rhymerelated.com) and "the first classick" with fellow midwest rapper and longtime friend cronja.
