CSK sounds like what would happen if Dave Grohl hijacked KISS during its Destroyer tour to perform Dead Boys and T. Rex covers

11 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Glam, ROCK: Punk

Details:
If you take the image of T.Rex, early David Bowie, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band and mix it with Robin Zander meets Dave Grohl vocal bravado, throw in a pinch of Slade, Ramones, and maybe Mott the Hoople, shaken, not stirred, you get Crash Street Kids. Ryan McKay, A.D. Adams, Ricky Serrano, Ryan "Deuce" Gregory. Their songs are catchy with riffs worthy of any classic 70's rock album. As is evident right off the bat once you hit with, the rocking "C'mon, C'mon", "Sugar Queen" and a killer rendition of Mott The Hoople's, "All The Young Dudes". A pity that Marc Bolan or Ian Hunter weren't involved. It would have just added luster to an already outstanding rock and roll band. 'LET'S ROCK AND ROLL TONITE' is a wonderfully glam and rocking album that you should never be without if you like loud guitars with really smart arrangements and incredible musicianship.

Crash Street Kid's 'LET'S ROCK AND ROLL TONITE' is the kind of disc where new sonic details emerge even after multiple repeated listenings. There is more harmonic inventiveness and sheer melody in this one disc than most groups are able to come up with in their entire careers. 'LET'S ROCK AND ROLL TONITE' comes highly recommended. Guaranteed EARGASM!

A long, long time ago I can still remember how the music used to make me smile......

In the aftermath of the turbulent 1960âs came a breath of fresh air. It was a time when fun and fashion would rule the day, a time when simplicity and sincerity became more important than protest and pandemonium. It as a time when Ziggy Stardust came to earth and Mott the Hoople came to Broadway...and it was magical!!

So with tongue placed firmly in cheek, Aladdin Sane announced to the world a change, beckoning us back to a higher calling. Back to the essence and spirit of what rock and roll was supposed to be.

Flanked by legions of loyal followers from New York to London and beyond, bands like the New York Dolls showed us the fashion. Humble Pie cranked out their turbo-styled British electric blues. Alice Cooper and KISS torched or impaled anything in sight, and the Ramones just wanted us to dance...and we did.

SO WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?

To the Crash Street Kids it means EVERYTHING! The music, the clothes, the panacheâ, the pure joy and abandon that was left back in that golden age. You can hear it in their melodies. You can read it in their lyrics and feel it in their beats.

It has been said that in order to move successfully into the future one must understand the past. The Crash Street Kids understand it....and embrace it with a new sense of style. Modernized and glistening like stars of tomorrow, they unleash their rockers like a torrent. Their ballads are urgent and brooding. Their pop songs are instantly singable. They will stick in your heads like chewing gum on your platform shoes!

All packaged, their live show is an event. They are not just a band playing songs. You will be sucked in and taken on a most glorious ride.

Gone are the dark days of grunge, and the rage and violence of hip-hop. Suburban screamo is over. The time has come for a change once again, and the kids have stepped up to deliver the goods. The new era has come, and the Crash Street Kids proudly and deservedly carry the torch.

So raise your fist, not in defiance, but in triumph. For true rock and roll is back, and it never felt better!

Ring the bells, fire the canons, bang a gong....letâs get it on!
