House music is really unsaturated disco. Every body knows that. But a few long years there is now micro house really small samples and clicks and glitches⦠seems cool, then there is jungle which is really fast breaks. Then there is really rough good old fashioned beats⦠TECHNO⦠this is a sampler of things techno. Not interested yet? What I think of when I see a variety pack is what kind of place would sell this? Okay Iâm at the mall looking around and oh a music store⦠should I want to see what they have or do they have almost everything âHOTâ meaning that should sell a lot so letâs put that in store. Wait what about like the stuff that people like but doesnât sound like every thing else that normal people who have no clue what techno is would buy put that in their store? ENTER CD BABY PEOPLE!!! Search and look what you like not what they think may sell a whole million copies or even in my case a few hundred or what ever⦠right? Techno is now becoming just like every thing else where they only stock what they know will sell. I promise you this. Go to a few record stores and basically all you will see are names that buyers âtrustâ I donât know what kind of person buys techno⦠I donât think you can really say⦠there are nerds geeks freaks who buy all kinds of way cool music. The final straw is how many bulletin boards have you got and how many fan websites are there under your name and who are you dating⦠not in the world of techno folks⦠so thatâs one reason why I have always liked dance music or even experimental music. Itâs fun there arenât any rules unless you either want to make people groove or if you want to make them explode⦠all I can say is on this disc is exploding and grooving ⦠just for you â¦.
