Hailing from Wilmington Delaware, 3.5 Livid are a four-piece aggressive rock band with the sound and ability to stand out from the rest.

Formed in late 2003, 3.5 Livid combine elements of raw power and aggression with a strong sense of melody and songwriting ability, to form a style that both appeals to fans of hard-core metallic and mainstream alternative music.

The band consists of some of the most talented musicians the region has to offer! 3.5 LividS drummer Mike Hostler is a veteran of the Philadelphia area music scene, with over twenty years of playing experience under his belt. Mike has developed a style of drumming that fits the band perfectly. Mike spent ten years behind the drums for RED LIGHT recording artists SOLITUDE and also logged time with the popular local bands PLANETARY and MUTHALOAD. With influences ranging from BILLY COBHAM to NEIL PEART of RUSH to DAVE LOMBARDO of SLAYER, Mikes drumming has the perfect blend of intricacy, precision, and power.

Rounding out the rhythm section is bass player Chris Campbell, an accomplished musician in his own right! Chris most notably was the bass player of JET SPEED recording artists DAZE ALONE, and has also played with the bands HARD RESPONSE, .45 HOLLOWPOINT and PLANETARY. Together with Hostlers intricate drumming style, Chris powerful bass lines construct the foundation for 3.5 LividS music.

Next up is guitarist Brian Moore. Brian spent four years playing for JET SPEED recording artists DAZE ALONE, and has also performed with the bands .45 HOLLOWPOINT and SMILEE. Brian's uniquely crafted guitar rhythms have been the root of many of 3.5 LividS songs, and his strong songwriting ability has anchored him firmly at the center of 3.5 LividS creative core.

Last in the lineup is singer / guitarist Keith Saulsbury. Keith spent ten years with RED LIGHT recording artists SOLITUDE. After the bands demise in 1996, Keith went on to play lead guitar with JET SPEED recording artists DAZE ALONE, and has logged time with the bands VENT and .45 HOLLOWPOINT. His precise lead guitar style, powerful voice and memorable vocal hooks have cemented his place within the band lineup.

Live performance is where the bands experience is most noticeable! 3.5 Livid shows are always tightly executed. The band has a high energy live show, and has the ability to flawlessly reproduce their recorded music in a live environment.

3.5 Livid have secured airplay on the Philadelphia radio station 94.1 fm WYSPs LOUD AND LOCAL show, Wilmington Delaware's 93.7 fm WSTWS HOMETOWN HEROS show, Newark Delaware's 91.3fm WVUDs RUFFAGE show and the Internet radio station EARACHE FM. The band also won EARACHE FMs TALENT SEARCH CONTEST, earning them a spot as the stations monthly featured artist.

Early in 2004, 3.5 Livid released a five-song sampler CD to much critical acclaim. The band has distributed over one thousand of these CDs at their live shows and continues to do so today. The sampler CD has helped to build a strong following for the band in the Philadelphia, North Delaware and Southern New Jersey areas.

Future plans for the band include releasing a ten song full length CD by late summer 2004, and expanding their fan base into the New York, Baltimore and Washington DC areas. The band hopes that through a vigorous gigging schedule they can eventually create a buzz nationally. Keith Saulsbury agrees, " the ultimate goal for us at this point is to release an album nationally and tour so we can promote ourselves to the masses and reach the next level."
