Just when you thought it was safe to go out.
Chicago Novelty Rockers, The Commodes, release their 2nd full length CD entitled "Flying Sausage"

This CD reminds me of a time when it was ok to water your driveway in the hot summer sun while drinking warm Olympia beer. Keyboardist, Angry Elmer really shines on this CD with his strong vocals on such numbers as "Planet of the Apes" and "Flying Sausage." One will never forget his Come Sail Away With Me piano solo on "D-U-C-K."

The Stellar guitar work of Steve "The Kernel" Crapper in "Electrical Pap Smear" and "300 Pound Internet Girl" can not be parallelled. Bang! Boom! Bam! goes Paul "The Big Ragu" Frigo, who on this CD can be compared to the late great Keith Moon or Mick Shrimpton.

I highly recommend this CD. It is this critic's belief that "Flying Sausage" is the best work that has come out of The Commodes camp yet.
