Electronic rock in the style of Joy Division, Ultravox, John Foxx, Goldfrapp, New Order, Neu..
11 MP3 Songs
ELECTRONIC: Ambient, ELECTRONIC: Soundscapes
Details:
This is a hommage to artists such as John Foxx, Neu!, Ultravox, Human League and Joy Division/New Order. The artists involved have created their very own feel and the music makes use of the full gamet of musical instruments from electric violins to modern day synthesizers. Although it may sound complicated, the album is very techno-punk, and makes use of limited facilities. The personel involved come from 4 different countries (Ireland, England, Holland and Spain). Contributing very much of their own cultural styles. The central pivot of this project is the producer John Curry (England), whose production values can be compared to Martin Hannett (Joy Division, New Order), which isn't strange as he comes from the same region in the north of England. This album is dedicated to Hans Wijnen who sadly departed this vale of tears in march 2005.
