The Band COUNTRY PROFILE was born in all itâs Glory in 2002 when these two extremely talented artists finally got together and started performing as a two-piece band throughout Ireland.

Vic first appeared on stage at the grand old age of 5 years, â at the time I was terrified, I had to play a couple of tunes on the accordion, there was about two hundred people in the audience and I had to be literally pushed on to the stage, Iâm not really sure how I performed that night but the audience applauded when I finished and I suppose I was alright after that and Iâve been performing one way or another ever since.â
Vic has played in a number of bands throughout the years. â I was brought up during the great Irish Show-band era and I do try to emulate the Show-band style as much as I can in our performances.â

Christine has been singing all her life but never thought about doing it professionally until meeting up with Vic. â Iâd seen Vic performing one night that I was out with my family and I thought he was great, I got talking to him and told him about me having entered and won some talent competitions, Vic asked me if I would like to come on stage a sing a couple of songs with him, needless to say I didnât hesitate I found it so easy singing with Vic accompanying me on keyboards we actually sang about six or seven songs together that night and the audience really seemed to enjoy the show so Vic asked me if I would like sing with him on a more regular basis and I jumped at the chance, the rest as they say is history.â


Sometimes known as the wee band with the big sound, COUNTRY PROFILE certainly packs a big punch when on stage. Featuring some of the old Show-band Classics such as Stop The World And (Let Me Off), The Door is Always Open, Walking Piece of Heaven etc-. As well as the Show-band favourites, COUNTRY PROFILE also play a very wide range of Country music and Country & Irish and they are certainly one of the favourite bands in the larger dance hall scenes around Scotland and Ireland. With fans in just about every country in the world Country Profile is a band worth hearing.
