POP: Piano, POP: Beatles-pop
Details:
Three guys came to Nashville from all over the country to get a start in the music industry. After meeting they quickly decided to form a band. Together, they had their debut just before Christmas 2003. There was great turn out and they quickly became a favorite.
Over Christmas, Ben continued to write new music for the band. Using influences from Jeff Buckley, The Beatles, and other musicians more than twice their age, Cooper came up with a piano based sound that wasnât another carbon copy. As time went on, they had the opportunity to play at various clubs around town with some of the areaâs leading musicians. They began drawing bigger crowds as 2004 went on and established a steady fan base.
Over the summer of 04, Ben wrote nearly 30 new songs in preparation for an upcoming album. After narrowing the list down to seven songs, the band released their debut EP in November of 04, selling over 200 copies in the first 2 months. Cooper has achieved great success as a local band. They have since been asked to write with other local writers and have gotten attention from the tv and film industry in LA.
This EP is their second. It has new songs as well has some that have become live audience's favorites. It was released in January of 2006.
