As a boy of thirteen in Miami, I experienced an all-night gospel concert. I had never experienced such beautiful harmony as was coming out of that auditorium, and it has stuck with me. From that moment on I knew that I wanted to be a part of music. With the help of my friend Doug Tarrant, I learned to play the guitar, and started singing wherever I could. As time moved along I met a lot of musicians, and one in particular...Jack Blanchard. He wrote the first song I recorded and many more. We became lifelong friends, along with his wife and partner Misty Morgan. Eventually I moved to Nashville to further my career. There were singers and songwriters on every corner trying to get their careers started. I managed to get with Starday and Stop Records, and Worldwide Productions, and started booking out of Nashville... mostly in the southern states. I soon learned what life and people and music were all about. Later I was offered a four-week gig in Orlando. The club owner held me over and offered me a âhomeâ. I took it, and have been in Orlando ever since. Brad Wolfe.

I was playing in an R&B club in Miami. On our breaks the musicians went to the adjacent coffee shop. This big guy was there every night talking to our lead guitar player. I asked why he never came into the club, and was told that Brad was only seventeen. On a cold winter day, a few years later, Brad and I drove to Nashville to record some songs I'd written for him. His unique recordings are found on Pete Drake's Stop Records, Starday Records, and other legendary labels. We've been close friends ever since. Misty and I are proud to be a part of this CD album.
