Their debut release, ââ¬ËMerica is the first album from an original Seattle quartet now living on separate oceans. The album displays the full array of styles that Calmer Than You Are produced over a two-year span as a band. Mainly instrumental, the music ranges from quiet ambience to intense and heavy, with a wide variety of songs featuring double drum sets, poetry, and samples of found sound.
