Carol is a Houston-based jazz trumpeter (and noted flugelhornist)on faculty of San Jacinto College North. She is a Juilliard graduate who has had many remarkable teachers including Chris Gekker, Mark Gould, Ingrid Jensen, and Dennis Dotson. Carol's goal as a teacher and performer is to help people enjoy music more. Her goal as an artist is to improve and communicate more freely. Carol has recently released two cds: "Classic Morgana" (standards with a trio of herself, Thomas Helton--bass, and Megan Foley--drums) and "Passing Time" with the Carol Morgan Quintet (all original compositions with Pamela York and Ed Lowe).
