43 Cambridge formed in 1998 in perth Western Australia on the tail of the grunge era. With early influences from the sixties and seventies including Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Who, The Beatles, Iggy pop as well as blues and later metal, punk you name it, anything with guitars and attitude.
This five piece went on to record three albums with a fourth currently in production. The band have Played with many of Australias finest Artists including Jimmy Barnes, The Waifs, Jon Butler, The Sleepy Jackson, You am I and countless others and are set to head to Europe with the release of there upcoming release earlt next year.
The Band consist Of two guitars, Bass, Drums, Lead vocals and Harmonica. The band use step down tuning which creates a thumping bottom end.
43 Cambridge are a band who have refused to follow the trends and instead create there own Diverse ansd Powerful Gutar driven Rock music with touches of Blues, Psychedelia, Punk, Grungs, metal you name it they play it.
Prank Monkey is the first full release for the band.
