You've heard/ seen many artists over the years and now "The Truth"! Versatility, originality, experience, emotion, and life are introduced through Carol!!! She is real, multitalented, a true entertainer, but more importantly she is faithful. Carol began singing for family and friends at the age of 3, then later in church with her sisters. They would form the group that would allow Carol to grow lyrically, and show her creativity. She began to create rhythms and melodies and with the help of her sisters , at age 9, wrote a full song! Carol began dancing and playing drums/percussion instruments in middle school and has continue to teach herself and learn from others ever since. Carol has never had any formal training or taking lessons, but was fortunate enough to be surrounded by many talented people! She knew that if she wanted to learn she would have to be quick and have a great memory! She learned and continues to learn and work hard!
Some say she came from nowhere, but Carol, like most artists, is a product of her environment. (Meaning she's from the hood, but on to bigger, better things.) Carol has been expressing herself through music all of her life. Being from "a small city called Albany,Georgia" Carol has had many life changing experiences. Carol uses all of those experience (good or bad) to write her lyrics! "When you are reciting real life you can't go wrong!" says Carol. She also uses her experience as a percussionist to create melodic patterns with her lyrics! She is no newcomer to the music scene, just one who has been patient and is now ready reveal her music to anyone who can hear and will listen.
Carol released her mixtape CD: "R U Ready" 4 da streets Vol. 1, officially, February 3rd, and will be releasing a single from her upcoming debut album So Emotional, soon. Independently, Carol has been blazing through the music scene. Carol has worked with many artists such as; C-Noteshce, also of All Out Music Empire, Big Nod of Southern House Records, Ole' E of Southern House, and a countless list of others. Carol's music and her resume speaks for itself. She is "The Truth"- Just who/what the industry needs!
