Carcen continues to support their current 2005 CD release Unaware, recorded and engineered by Steve Christensen at SugarHill Recording Studios in Houston, TX, by increasing airplay and strengthening CD sales. They are in rehearsals writing new material for upcoming performances throughout Texas and Southwestern Louisiana.

Carcen is working with Cinematographer/Mike May of Visual Mayhem to create a video featuring two of the singles from the CD, Mexico and Never Say Always.

Houston, TX based Carcen was formed in 1998 by original members Cody Watts and Jonas Gunawan. By 1999 Carcen was successful in establishing themselves in the Houston music scene, playing all the major venues and winning several distinctive talent awards. They have a wide range of musical influences from classical music to modern rock.

Against the tough schedules of college life with a variety of degree anticipations; including pre-med, law, audio engineering, marketing and business Carcen is constantly building and growing. They are open and ready for all opportunities, their music influenced by real life situations. Carcen is very hard-working and goal oriented. They are concentrating on songwriting, continued growth, building a solid fan-base and getting their music heard.
