Calvin B. Austin a native of Lynchburg, VA born to Mr. Carroll Austin, Sr. and Jurneice H. Bond, on March 28, 1973. He is the youngest of three children.

Calvin later developed an ear for playing music and from that gift doors began to open for him to play for churches at the early age of 13 years old.

Upon graduating from High school he enrolled and later graduated from Norfolk State University in May of 1996 with a Bachelors of Arts in Music Media. While at Norfolk State Calvin was listed as one of the "Who's Who" of America.

Calvin has been a well-known and sought after musician in the Tidewater area (of VA) since relocating to the area in 1991. Through his ministry he has obtained the opportunity to play for local artists and choirs as well as for renowned gospel artist. He also was invited to Japan to be a Workshop Instructor and musician along with his mentor and friend Willie Copeland.

He has developed a love and enjoyment not just for singing and playing but also for writing, arranging and producing music. In 1999, Calvin established his own production company, "Austintouch Productions" where he not only records his personal writings but he has recorded various artists as well.

In November 1999, Calvin married Benita Norvice Sellers. To there union they have two children Ami'ya Destiny and Calvin B.,II. His family is his biggest fans, supporters and intercessors.

Currently, Calvin serves as the Minister of Music at Mt.Tabor COGIC, Smithfield, VA where his Father in law is his Pastor (Dr. Clarence L. Sellers).

At last the greatly anticipated solo project" I Am Persuaded" has been released.
