Cheryl Terhune Cronk has been a musician for more than 20 years and is active as a composer, songwriter and arranger as well as a guitarist and vocalist. In 2002, she had been thinking about producing a childrenâs music CD so she teamed up with kindergarten teacher, Deborah Morse Scala. Deb had been an early childhood educator for over 20 years and was actively using music in the classroom as a teaching tool.

With Deb writing the activities and lyrics and Cheryl doing the songwriting and recording the CD, the result was The SeaNotes Series â music with companion activities to help teach young children.

âCharacter Educationâ¦With Musicâ is the second publication of The SeaNotes Series programs and has been used by educators, parents, home schoolers â anyone involved with children ages Pre-K to second grade.
