Clator Butler's double album "Here B-Side Myself" is all about duality. Culled from alternate studio takes, unreleased covers, and a complete acoustic session, this it provides 29 gems that have been locked away in the vault until now. On the Electric Branches disc, all of Clator's "single edits" from his first two albums are presented here, making many of Clator's standards that segue into one another on their original albums more "shuffle-friendly" for the iPod age.

The Acoustic Roots disc shows a more intimate side of Clator with just his voice, his 12-string and the occasional harmonica, bringing a startlingly different dynamic to many of his original songs.

In addition to these new (to you) versions of old favorites, both discs offer a generous helping of rather esoteric cover material from some of the artists who have most influenced Clator's music. Namely U2, Rush, David Wilcox, The Eagles, Pearl Jam, and even Primus. Enjoy this set as a delightful compendium to his previous albums "White Collar Crime" and "A Critical State of Affairs."
