Starting with a foundation of World drums and percussion sounds, he layers acoustic guitars with other instruments to morph each song into a full, yet uncluttered, arrangement. Some of the songs have their own distinct characteristics, e.g., Spanish chord progressions, Middle Eastern time signatures, or South American rhythms. Other songs are less easily pigeon-holed, and contain a more ambiguous sound.
