Cleazy began his musical career at the tender age of 12. He started out as a writer but soon joined with a few of his peers to become a group. The group modeled themselves after the legendary Wu Tang Clan. Like the clan they too had many members; 7 to be exact. From the beginning the group looked at Cleazy as the leader. He made all of the important decisions, produced the beats and recorded the music in house. As time went by Cleazy requested that his companions make a change in their music. Cleazy suggested that the group try to produce more of a commercial sound while the rest of the group wanted to stay with the more hardcore type of music. The group of seven friends soon turned into a one man band. His drive and determination would not let him give up on his dream.

His first recording as a solo artist was an instant hit with the public. At age 18, Cleazy's buzz-single, "Ooh Wee" is taking the fans by storm. The song showcases his awesome ability to combine witty punch lines with an ever-changing lyrical pattern. His first solo performance came shortly after the departure of his band mates and where he became the opening act for mainstream moguls Chingy and the Ying Yang Twins. With the success of this performance Cleazy not only brought in more fans, but was also proclaimed to have the best show of the night by the crowd.

The music isn't the only thing that captures the crowd, however. Cleazy boasts the title of being the trendsetter in his hometown. His style is said to resemble T.I., Jay-Z, and Ludacris. His sex appeal is said to resemble that of Hip Hop stars Nelly and LL Cool J. His lyrics are said to resemble those of Jay-Z, Lil' Wayne, and Lloyd Banks His ability, however, is like no other. He may be an unsigned artist at the moment, but that doesn't stop him from making fans out of industry insiders. At the 2003 Billboard music awards Cleazy received the compliment of all compliments from DMC of the legendary Hip Hop pioneers Run DMC. DMC enthusiastically stated that Cleazy's music was "star quality!!" He also received rave reviews from Atlantic Recording artist Big V, a member of the platinum group Nappy Roots. Big V was quoted as saying that Cleazy's demo was "the best demo he has ever received."

Change is something that is not new to this new comer. For the length of his career he has faced and overcame diversity. Change is something that has fueled his success. Now, with the right help, he hopes to bring a change to the music industry. He is definitely a star to watch.
