About Chris conway
His style is unique - blending a U.S. West Coast sound with Celtic Roots with hints of world music and jazz - delivered with a powerful, soulful voice. His songs are like films, with a magical quality, each song drawing the listener into it's spell.

He has released 12 CDs of his own songs and many other instrumental CDs.

He's played with the cream of the UK folk and folk/rock scene.
He's also toured with ex Monkee Peter Tork, played with members of Jethro Tull and Fairport Convention. He is a part of Vikki Clayton's band, and she recorded two of his songs on her CD. With Vikki he has played Cropredy Festival twice playing to 20,000 people, and the Edinburgh Fringe 5 times. He has also played with the likes of Sally Barker, Pete Morton, Cathy Lesurf & Tommy Emmanuel.

He has supported legends Bob Geldof, Roy Wood, Frances Black, Country Joe McDonald, and Arthur Brown, amongst others.

About Storming
Some of Chris Conway's most powerful songs. Storming has a gutsier and a slightly more Celtic feel to it than some of CCs other albums. A musical and songwriting tour de force.

Reviews
"Chris Conway, American born but now resident in England, is a name which is becoming something of a byword. Conway's music is multi layered including elements of contemporary folk, jazz, oriental and traditional Celtic music in a style which is refreshing and highly accomplished. "Storming" is a powerful reminder of the all round talents that are Chris Conway's. There's something serious going on here." - Rock n Reel Magazine

"⦠on an enjoyable and accomplished album "Storming", he purveys a lilting and melodic music of depth and emotion" - Time Out Magazine
