Making this CD has been a very long process. I started with a 4-track cassette recorder in 1995. Parts of those original 4-track recordings actually ended up on this CD. I completed a cassette demo in 1997. The Demo had a good vibe, but I felt the sound quality was poor and so I set out to put the Tape onto a CD. The process turned out to be more difficult than I had expected. Especially since my resources were limited. I finally completed the CD in the summer of 1999, but I wasnât happy with it. Some how I had lost the feel of the original cassette recordings when I rerecorded the songs. After the disappointing result, I decided to put it away for a while and focus on other things. In the fall of 2001 I decided to start recording again. I started with the original 4-track tapes where I could, and I began to rerecord each track one at a time. Everything seemed to start falling into place. I finished most of the tracks that fall, but the CD still had to be mastered and mixed. Between working and moving and just keeping busy in general another year past. I had to make improvements in my studio set up in order to complete the project. The CD was in an almost finished state for almost another year. On June 15, 2003 at 11:56 PM I finally burned the master. There is so much more to the story, but it wouldnât be possible to put the entire story on here. If you like this one, there is another one in the works for this summer.
