Hey Folks


I don't know how you wound up here, but I'm glad you stopped by. Motherload
took a year to put together and I'm really pleased with the results. I've completed
2 full length projects prior to this, but did not feel they were worthy enough for
me to try and sell. I thought this album was, so I put the money into having it copied.

I am a 41 year old musician who started playing music when I was twelve. I started
on clarinet and I played that for about five years. That's actually where I learned
most of the music theory I know and how to read and write notation. I started
practicing guitar in a serious fashion when I was about 18 and haven't looked
back since.

My style is rooted in blues, but there are rock, folk, punk, reggae
overtones in a lot of my work. I did all the performances, recording, editing, etc
on this album at BoogieMan Records in Bellingham Washington. BMR is my own
label and was started for many reasons, the foremost being the creative expression it allows me. I wrote and arranged all the songs on MotherLoad
except "Folsom Prison Blues" which, well we know where that came from

I hope to put together
a European blues tour in a year or two. I love touring because as a musician,
I believe, on stage is where the real magic happens.
