Welcome to the world of CHIPZ DA GENERAL, born Shakir Seagers, repping the Bronx and Kingsbridge until the cradle rock. I have wrote rhymes since I was 9 years old, I remember me writing my first rap on the Amtrak with my big brother Cashes right theyre encouraging me. In my years on this earth I have been through a lot of pain and struggling losing my Mother, my Grandfather, and my Best friend; an I know them or my living family wouldn't want but the best for me. After 5 years of interning at Source Magazine I inherited what Gotti, Boo, and Tory taught me about the industry. As I got into a lot of trouble with the law that kind of through my ball career away and made me turn to the streets and music. Constant run-ins with law enforcements over the following years made me decide to leave the streets alone and make me take my pen full-fledged without looking back. I have taken all my pain, all of my struggling, and all the music I have listened to and inspired myself to write the rhymes that I write to this day. Rapping is my hobby, my wife, as well as my job.
