Description:

(ID 1045713)
Cherry Bikini's raw and dirty first album is both a study in sextronica and an homage to pure lust.

10 MP3 Songs
ELECTRONIC: Pop Crossover, ELECTRONIC: Techno

Details:
The bold first release by Cherry Bikini offers up ten extremely sexy songs that explore the subject of lust like none beforehand.

Lyrically, their songs are some of the most sexually explicit today, with such unambiguous titles such as "Just Fuck Me" and "Sixtynine". The CD is not a parody or a joke album, but rather a pretty interesting treatise on sexuality and sexual fantasy. The ten songs on the disc offer up a variety of erotic scenarios from sex on the beach (Sixtynine), to encounters in a club (Brown Haired Boy), to affirmations of female sexual confidence - "Never been shy with guys that I like/ Always get what I want anywhere anytime" (Gimme Some), to simple fun "Pour your champagne all over my strawberry" (Champagne).

The catchy melodies are top-notch, and well entwined -somewhat akin to those of 80's alternative new wave/ electro-pop acts, yet retaining a fundamentally modern quality. This sometimes generates comparisons to modern electro artists like Miss Kittin or Felix Da Housecat. The sound is modern - familiar yet distinct. It evokes but do not imitate. Their songs are fun and unpretentious - sexy dance music that doesn't really fit into the commonly defined genres in electronica.
