Chuck Williams has been appearing along the Maine and New Hampshire seacoast and has recently moved to the Southeast coast of Massachusetts. Raised in Toledo, Ohio, Chuck has lived most of his adult life in the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts.
This songwriters music is of love gained, love lost, growing up and moving on. He can take you on a journey that makes you think, smile and at times want to cry. Chuck won the 2005 Ludlow Folk Festival Songwriter Contest and has just received Honorable Mention from the PeaceDriven Songwriting Awards Contest. He recently had 'On The Line' a story of the young fighting a war of the old rated 31st on Neil Youngs Top 600 Songs of the Times at www.neilyoung.com His lyrics and melodies are a musical journey reflecting emotions of everyday life.
Chuck has performed at venues such as Wild Jackâs in York Beach, Maine, the Hampton Beach Pavilion in New Hampshire, the old Prodigal Son in Hyannis, MA, Katherine Cornell Theatre on Marthaâs Vineyard, the Narrowâs Center for the Arts in Fall River, MA, Mozaic Room, Avon, MA , Guthrie Center in Gt. Barrington, MA, the Cantab Lounge, Cambridge, MA , Steve's Backstage Pass, Taunton, MA as well as numerous coffeehouses in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Chuck is a member of R.I.S.A. (Rhode Island Songwriters Association) and A.S.C.A.P.
He has been a a Featured Artist on WMVY Radio's LMC (Local Music Cafe)Chuck has recently been given airplay on WARL 1320AM Providence, WMVY 92.7FM, Martha's Vineyard, And WTBU, 89.3FM Boston. (Boston University)
