ACOUSTIC ALBUM: Due to an overwhelmingly plus response to their acousticalal shows, 9 Red Sun discharged an acousticalal album, which showcases their beautiful harmonies, thought-provoking lyrics, and strong musicianship. It was recorded live, with vocals, acousticalal guitar, bass, and a conga drum. A couple of songs include keyboards, and one song, "One Step Closer," adds a string quartet to the mix. The album includes acousticalal versions of three songs from their debut album, "Basking in the Shade," plus three new songs.
San Francisco-based 9 Red Sun is known for their soaring melodies, catchy hooks, clever lyrics, and energetic live show. Their music is a blend of pop, rock, new wave, and lilting harmonies.
