The CD was created specifically for meditation and alterative arts such as reiki, yoga, tai chi and qigong. It was commissioned by Seattle Reiki Master Thomas D. Kinzie, who frequently uses music in his Reiki treatments and alterative ceremonies. "Music has an incredibly powerful effect on the human spirit. It is my belief that this music will help to bring true alterative and joy to people's lives."

Jesse Stern is a composer, producer, musician and healer living in Los Angeles, CA. He has performed with artists as diverse as Della Reese, Coolio, Karen Black and Weezer. He writes songs, music for film, and works as a session bassist. His bass playing can be heard on the brand new Groove Gravy compilation "Masterworks Reworked".

Stern practices and teaches Reiki; he has also been an avid student of yoga and tai chi for many years. His life goal is to help heal the world with music.
