Creating smooth soulful songs that capture the human experience, Charlie blends his natural affinity to R&B with Soul, Funk, Blues, and Middle Eastern flavors.
Born & raised in Fairfield,CT, Charlie grew up with a diverse musical soundscape including: Mariah Carey, Anita Baker, Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder, Madonna, Prince, and traditional Greek,Arab Gypsy music.
This NYC based artist is a graduate of Bennington College's Music Department. While studying Jazz at Bennington, Charlie fell in love with the vocal stylings of Billie Holiday, Etta James, Jimmy Scott, and Frank Sinatra.
These artists along with his professors/mentors: Cabaret cross over vocalist, Tom Bogdan, world re-knowned jazz man, Bruce Williamson and avant-garde performance artist/composer, Kitty Brazelton, became and continue to be Charlie's great source of inspiration. At The Berklee College of Music, Charlie discovered a natural affinity to gospel/spiritual song.

Charlie has written, arranged, and co-produced his self-entitled debut album with Grammy award winning producer, Tommy Faragher. Drawing upon his own life experiences, the material on this debut record deals with themes of love, spirituality, and self-discovery. His vocals have inspired comparisions to Etta James, Simply Red, George Michael, and Babyface. Lyrically, Charlie proclaims his sexuality confidently, wailing on a bluesy ballad: "If you could be MAN ENUFF to tell how me you feel, I could stop questioning if what we have is real!" Evocative & Soul-bearing, Charlie's music is meant for everyone.
