Born in Weslaco, Texas, Singer/Songwriter Chuck Leah has been a performing musician for over 2 decades. He was bassist for rock bands Haste and The Mighty Smites and jazz pianist Joaquin Lugo during the 80âs. Chuck recorded dozens of sessions for recording studio Master Productions along with drummer/engineer Joe Leal. He then joined Texas veteran country band Tumbleweed with whom he toured extensively. Formally based in Austin where he was part of a trio fronted by singer/songwriter Doug Clark Steiger , Chuck now lives in Katy, Texas. His latest release âDriveâ infuses a wide variety of influences from country, rock, folk and bluegrass creating a fresh sounding autobiographical record. âDriveâ was co-produced by Italian guitarist extraordinaire Ettore Biagi. Chuck's first independent release âUndoneâ is slated for re-release in July 2006.
