Christopher has entertained on stage for over 23 years, performing to audiences as large as 35,000.
He began playing guitar and singing at the age of 13. After graduating High School he moved to Nashville Tennessee to pursue his musical aspirations. The next 20 years found him working as a studio and stage player to major label-recording artists as well as numerous other performance situations. After much time on the road and in the studio supporting the careers of others, Chris's own musical horizons began to unfold. His first album "Higher Ground" was released in 1997 to overwhelming acceptance. Winning the praise of many in the music industry as well as fans from all over.
Early 2000 brought the opportunity for he and his wife Renee to leave their home in Tennessee and settle in the picturesque mountains above Boulder Colorado. "Journey of the Soul" was scheduled for release later that year but a tragic setback delayed the project another 4 years and almost cost Chris his life. While riding his bicycle near his mountain home, Chris was hit head on by an oncoming vehicle. Suffering a multitude of injuries and not expected to survive the accident, Chris is now left to the confines of a wheelchair from a sustained injury to his spinal cord. Extensive rehab and therapy have allowed him to play guitar again as he continues to pursue his musical passions. In addition to the search for a cure, Chris continues various therapies to improve his circumstances and condition. "Journey of the Soul" marks the next step in the musical evolution of Christopher Paul. As his soothing instrumental melodies continue to reach out and embrace the human spirit.
