chad eric is a singer/songwriter/pianist/guitarist....activist, humanitarian...almost vegetarian....a buddhist .....and he has just released his third cd "taking tea with elephants"...strange title...cool album...his other releases are 2000's "both ears up" and 2002's "dragonfly cafe". He was born to be in the spotlight, and even though he was told many times, To stop dreaming and live in the real world, he always refused, choosing instead to create his own world, and invite others to share it.. He had a vision, to take the things he loved most from his influences, and together with his own unique point of view, be what he had never seen or heard. His goal? to write honest , creative music, that invites you to sing along. And to have an exciting stage show, combining a bit of showbiz glitter with tight, passionate performances. every performance is intimate, he has the ability to make you feel like your spending time with your best friend, its a very unique experience. Even listening to his music at home, you feel the passion and soul, That he puts in to every note and every word. The music is like a good book a classic movie or meditation, you can just lose yourself in it, and escape the insanity around you (or in you). he also co-founded a project called "care package" which raised money for Tsunami victims and Childhood cancer research, he is also involved in the ONE campaign to make poverty history, and is working on a new project called "raincoats" which will focus on a new approach to stopping domestic violence.
