Details:
If you like Rockabilly and real Country Music, you'll LOVE this album. "Don't Knock It" and "If I Ever Get Out Of The Woods" are original tracks from the 1950's when Joe Price was one of the pioneers in this style of music. The recitation "40 Years Of Memories" and the classic cowboy tune "Stardust On The Purple Sage" will take you back to the roots of Country Music in the era "BN"... Before Nashville.

Joe Price was an emerging Rockabilly and Country star in the 1950's, with a weekly radio show on Dallas' WFAA Shindig, regular appearances on the Big D Jamboree, and a major recording contract with then startup Starday Records. Joe performed on stage along side such legends as Lefty Frizzell, Sonny James, Hank Snow, Jim Reeves, Jimmy & Johnny, and many more.

Joe left the Country Music industry in 1959 to become a pastor, but has continued writing, performing and recording Country Gospel and Traditional Country music through the years. He is the CEO of Texas International Music Association and their label TIMA Records, which has given many new artists their start in the Country Music and Country Gospel fields. Joe is known and recognized throughout the industry as a talented and original songwriter, musician and stylist. Joe Price is a Hall of Fame Member (CGMG 2003) and is the recipient of numerous Songwriter Of The Year awards.
