Greetings from the City of Brotherly Love!
Today is my 50th birthday and I am most grateful for the opportunity to distribute my first record to the world-at-large....
I spent the last year with my wife Judye making these poems into music at Studio Scobell in Wilmington, Delaware. The result is worth listening to- as I don't hear songwriting like this as often as I'd like in many music markets.
Also, the musicians came from far and wide to add their heart, souls, and spirits. My best friend, Frank Baldo play all the other guitar work and bass. Frankie B. is a master musician to be sure. Another buddy-o-mine (and music therapy colleague) Angela Falco came all the way from the wacked-out West Coast to play piano. Her contributions are absolutely beautiful because she is so beautiful! Our "BIG STAR" import for this project is the woman, the flute-playing legend Ali Ryerson. Ali is so generous and unassuming that she drove up from DC (after playing the Kennedy Center for God's sake) to lay her hand to a couple of tracks. Our engineer (and co-producer) Peter Scobell was heard to exclaim, "Who WAS that masked flute player, anyway?
