John Callaway is currently a Graduate Student at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. While being involved in the upstate music scene since the age of 16, John decided it was time to produce his own album. âDriveâ is a combination of songs written by John, and some with close friends. âDriveâ covers a pretty broad spectrum from full band tunes, to acoustic solo work. Listeners can definitely here John's acappella background in percussion and some other vocal bass work.
John has performed with the bands Breakstone and One Day Away, and the collegiate acappella group, TIGEROAR, from Clemson University. Johnâs song âWhen I Look Into Your Eyesâ, co-written with Matt Irwin, was recently nominated for the Best Collegiate Original Song by the CARA awards. The album âAll Inâ which John helped produce has also been named one of the Top Ten Male Albums in the country.
