Details:
"Ultimately very heartfelt and strikingly real, hailing from Maryland, Jon Felton and His Soulmobile focuses on letting everything out to be known. Think early Pedro the Lion meets later Danielson Famile, with the raw intensity of early Violet Femmes and the charming quirkiness of bands like Teen Beat's Jonny Cohen. All in all, 'Let's Get Together and Not Be Machinery' takes the listener on a reflective journey, striving to discover what it means to be truly human." --IsidoreRecords.com

"Jon Felton is the hardest working man in local music."

Note from Jon:

"this album is part of my life. I'm proud of it because it's hard to make an album of what i do. I like playing shows. I like meeting you, even when i don't know what to say.

I can only be direct: the things that have been on my mind, you might want to hear so you won't feel so alone.
I don't who to talk to, so I'm going on stage and laying myself out as honestly and artistically as I can. Wondering, can we relate? You and I, we matter. We really do. Even though it didn't seem that way at work.

The cd is me meditating on these things alone, without you.
And you will listen to it without me.
that's the difference. it's two sides of the same coin.

So, here it is, please buy it.
It's medicine for me because i tell the truth.
you'd probly like to be told the truth.
even if it's just the truth about me.

peace. jon
