Details:
One of the most multi-talented underground artists out there. Requiem For Civilization is Joe's fourth full length release in a storied career that has included countless accolades from fans and critics alike. This concept album is written, arranged, performed and produced entirely by Joe Nacco.

A statement from Joe;

"Requiem For Civilization, is about a man who loses everything he has in a natural disaster. Questioning his faith and upset with his government, he organizes a revolution and they take to the streets.

"Alot of this hits home these days with everything going on in the world and carries an important message I feel I need to make. I'm fortunate to have my music so I can deliver it. I was finished with this before the Paris riots began and I started writing a big portion of this after the Tsunami hit and before Katrina.

"Musically it's also a sharp turn from what I've done in the past. The piano is the primary instrument here and I used no electric guitars while making this album. I made everything entirely by myself and I used and experimented with a variety of different sounds and instruments in order to capture the mood of each song and how it relates to the story."
