JON-PAUL's, "Innerstandings", marks a beautiful debut for this smooth jazz fusion keyboardist, bassist, composer & producer. Heavily featured on this debut album is one of the greatest up and coming Jazz saxophonist alive, the multi-talented, Dave Wilson. Dave Wilson has performed from the West Coast to Eastern Europe and many places in between, from the legendary jam at the New Apartment Lounge on Chicago's South Side to Carnegie Hall. Also featured on Innerstandings is the amazing guitarist, Donovann Raitt. Donovann has performed with many artists in the jazz scene including, Riddle the Sphinx, The Downbeat Express Big Band, Mambo Soul Latin Jazz band, The Swingshift Big Band, as well as numerous others.

The combined work of these three talented artist was focused by Jon-Paul to produce what many have said should become a smooth jazz fusion masterpiece.

Innerstandings paints a symphonic picture of soulful, smooth jazz fusion. Songs such as "Welcome to My Mind" and "Shower Me" are songs that display many of the smooth jazz styles that JON-PAUL has obviously been influenced by. Those such as Paul Hardcastle, Rob Mullins, Herbie Hancock and more.
