Joshua Mays is the frontman for an up-and-coming Modern Rock band. Originally from San Francisco, Josh and the band are now based in Albuquerque, NM.
After a relentless touring schedule, and recording and releasing an EP (âEagleâ) last summer, the Joshua Mays Band is quickly gaining a dedicated fanbase all across the country, as well as in Europe.
The JMB has just finished a brand new Full-Length album, "The Acoustic Sessions", available online and in select stores. (Email mail@joshuamays.com for more info or to order!) Featuring new songs heard only at recent shows, as well as brand material never heard anywhere, this album is a must have for every fan, old or new! "This record was recorded in direct response to our fans", says lead-singer Joshua Mays. "We play mainly as a full, hard-rock band. But we also play âstripped-acousticâ shows as well, and fans have been consistently asking for a âtake-homeâ version of the acoustic experience. This was the inspiration behind, "The Acoustic Sessions". In addition to the new material, listeners will also find "stripped acoustic" versions of fan favorites, "Eagle", "Show Me Love Again", and "Here With Me"!
