New Avalon was recorded 1985-1987 at Tranquility Studios in Pine Cove, California by Joey Latimer. The original album was available on cassette tape, distributed by Pyramid Distributors, and was popular at Frank and Suzanne Ferroâs Avalon Shop in Idyllwild, California.

In all, several thousand copies of New Avalon were sold and are/were in existence somewhere. Fortunately, Steve Knox at Filmcor in Hollywood transferred the orginal 2-track master to DAT in 1988. The songs on this CD were taken from that DAT and transferred back into a computer for re-mastering.
