"FRENCH HORN SANS FRONTIERES is a journey through the many styles of music that I pursue and enjoy. It encompasses the century 1905-2004, meandering through jazz compositions of David Amram, Julius Watkins, Kurt Weill, Horace Silver, Hoagy Carmichael, George Gershwin, to classic fragments of Frederick Delius and Benjamin Britten, then through birdsong, horn and guitar (Don Ross), and finally Harry Nilsson and the Beatles. My chosen repertoire also features the eloquent voice of Lynn McDonald (on five songs) and Mike Murley on sax (on seven)"
